With a passion for supporting individuals on their wellness journey, Kim is a therapist who holds deep-rooted holistic values specializing in health psychology. Recognizing each person as a unique whole with distinct experiences and needs, her therapeutic approach integrates diverse modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to foster well-being. Kim works with children, teens, and adults living with distress due to chronic illness, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and neurodevelopmental concerns, among others. Kim is an advanced clinical psychology doctoral student at Palo Alto University. Over the years, she has accumulated years of clinical and research experience focusing on supporting children, teens, and adults in navigating life transitions, confronting chronic illness or pain, seeking deeper interpersonal connection, and rediscovering their inner strength.

After earning her master's degree from Hunter College, she took on a role as a Behavior Intervention Specialist where she employed a patient-centered approach to empower individuals with physical, intellectual, and cognitive disabilities. Alongside her current role at Meraki, she is also situated within a local elementary school where she provides individual therapy and orchestrates group projects in the classroom centered around mindfulness. This dual role places her at the intersection of education and mental well-being, allowing her to channel her passion for fostering holistic growth. Kim is here to guide you along your journey towards healing and wellness, helping you emerge as the most authentic and empowered version of yourself.

In her free time, Kim enjoys being present in nature, staying active through exercise, delving into the realm of nutrition and herbal medicine, and engaging in activities that spark joy.

Kim is supervised by Dr. Sepsey.
